Story of Bighni and Bijai Pal : Once upon a time, there was a prince named Kunj Pal who lived in a place called Kalavatikot. He was very rich and had two sons, Kirti Pal and Chand Pal. Kunj Pal loved Chand Pal more than Kirti Pal because Chand Pal had many good qualities.

When Kunj Pal was old and knew he was going to die, he decided to divide his property between his two sons. He gave a larger share to Chand Pal, which made Kirti Pal very upset. When Kunj Pal died, Kirti Pal did not participate in his father’s funeral rites.

Chand Pal was a great warrior and very strong. He had a brother named Kirti Pal who was jealous of him. One day, Kirti Pal wrote a letter to the Raja of Doon, saying that Chand Pal was trying to kill him. The Raja of Doon then gathered a large army to attack Chand Pal.

Chand Pal thought the army was coming to attack Kirti Pal, so he went to help his brother. However, Kirti Pal tricked Chand Pal into fighting the army alone. Chand Pal fought bravely and defeated the army, but while he was taking a bath, Kirti Pal stabbed him from behind, killing him.

Chand Pal’s wife, Anna Mala, was pregnant with twin boys at the time of his death. She gave birth to two sons, Bighni Pal and Bijai Pal, and raised them in a jungle. Bighni Pal and Bijai Pal grew up to be very strong and performed amazing feats of strength.

When they were twelve years old, Bighni Pal and Bijai Pal asked their mother about their father. Anna Mala told them the story of how Kirti Pal had killed their father. The twin brothers became very angry and decided to avenge their father’s death.

Bighni Pal and Bijai Pal went to Kirti Pal’s house and asked him about their father. Kirti Pal lied and said that their father had been killed by the enemy. He then gave them poisoned milk, hoping they would die. However, the twins survived and went back to their mother, who was very happy that they were alive.

The twin brothers could not forget their father’s death and went back to Kirti Pal’s house. They killed Kirti Pal and his wife, as well as their five sons who were also great warriors. They then destroyed and plundered Kirti Pal’s palace and brought the booty back to their home.

Finally, they brought their mother Anna Mala from the jungle and ruled their kingdom peacefully and happily.
