Application dates for Uttarakhand police Constable and sub-Inspector posts extended by March 3, 2022
There is good news for the youth who want to make a future in the police department. Candidates who were not able to apply for the posts of constable and sub-inspector due to any reason can now apply till March 3 2022.
Secretary, Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Santosh Badoni said that the last date of application for 1521 posts of constable was February 16. Whereas sub-inspector applications were to be made by February 21. A large number of candidates were unable to get the domicile certificate, caste certificate, EWS etc. certificates made due to the assembly election process. Keeping these problems in mind, the commission has extended the date of application.

Police Constable: 1521 Posts
Sub Inspector (Civil Police): 65 Posts
Sub Inspector (Intelligence): 43 Posts
Gulmanayak (Male) PAC & IRB: 89 Posts
Fire II Officer: 24 Posts
Eligibility
The minimum educational qualification for constable posts is the 12th pass. Whereas the educational qualification for sub-inspector and other posts is graduation. There will be 100 marks general knowledge test for graduate-level posts. Whereas for the post of Fire II Officer, the educational qualification is prescribed graduate in science. After the written examination for these posts, there will also be a physical efficiency test.
