Story of Chhaplia Hyunr : Once upon a time, there was a prince named Chhaplia Hyunr who ruled a place called Ujain Nagri. He was very strong and brave. One day, he decided to challenge all the other princes nearby to see who was the strongest. He sent messages to many princes, including Asa Rawat from Bhagotikot and Bhowan Singh from Maili Jawari.
When all the warriors who accepted the challenge gathered at Patli Doon, Chhaplia went to fight them. Among them was a great warrior named Rudri Kathait from Bamsu Bangar. Chhaplia challenged Rudri to fight, and they battled for seven days. On the seventh day, Chhaplia flew up into the sky and then came down to cut off all of Rudri’s limbs with his dagger. Rudri fell to the ground, but he quickly got up and shot an arrow at Chhaplia, hitting him in the heart.
At that moment, Bhow Singh Bhandari came to help Chhaplia. He drew his dagger and cut off Rudri’s head. Rudri had a son named Udi, who was just a baby at that time. When Udi grew up, he wanted to know who had killed his father. His mother told him it was Chhaplia and Bhow Singh at Patli Doon. Udi got very angry and put on his armor to go fight them.
When Udi reached Patli Doon, he asked who had killed his father. Chhaplia admitted that he had done it and challenged Udi to fight. They battled for ten days, and on the tenth day, Chhaplia cut off Udi’s head.
A man named Belu Naithani, who was in Udi’s army, approached Chhaplia and said that he was like a god and should be his charioteer. While they were driving, Belu started insulting the Kshattriyas, saying that they were tyrants, and that was why Pharas Ram, a Brahman warrior, had killed them. This made Chhaplia very angry, and he challenged Belu to a fight.
They fought for twelve days, and on the last day, Belu shot an arrow that hit Chhaplia in the heart. Belu then taunted Chhaplia, saying that as a Kshattriya, he should have used all his strength against a Brahman. Chhaplia got angry and wrapped his wounds, then cut off Belu’s head with his dagger.
After that, Chhaplia killed the entire army of Belu and eventually died from his wounds. And that’s the story of how the brave Prince Chhaplia Hyunr fought many battles and proved his strength.
